    We didn't start a handyman company that happens to hire people in recovery. We started a company so that people in recovery would have somewhere to work.

    That's the whole thing, and it's the reason the work is good. Getting your life back takes a paycheck, a reason to be up at six, and somebody expecting you to show up. Those are hard to find when your résumé has a gap in it and everybody's already decided who you are.

    So we built the job instead of waiting for someone else to offer it. Real hours, real pay, a lead on every crew, and standards that don't get lowered because of anyone's history. The guys on these crews are not a charity case and they'd be insulted if you treated them like one.

    Who's coming into my house?
    A supervised crew with a lead, and you'll know who to expect before they arrive. Everyone is background-checked and we carry general liability insurance — ask and we'll send the certificate before we start, not after.
    Is the estimate the real price?
    It's a real range, built from what these jobs cost us. We confirm the exact number before anyone starts work, and from there it doesn't move unless you change the job. What we won't do is quote low and find things.
    How fast can you get here?
    Usually the same week, often sooner. Crews are the reason — we're not routing everything through one person's calendar. If a date is tight, say so and we'll tell you honestly rather than string you along.
    Do you do plumbing or electrical?
    Not the licensed work. Utah requires a licensed contractor for plumbing, electrical and HVAC no matter how small the job, so we stay on our side of that line and tell you plainly when something crosses it. Fixture swaps and general repair, yes.
    What's the area?
    West Jordan, South Jordan, Sandy, Midvale, Murray, Riverton, Herriman, Taylorsville, West Valley City, Draper and Bluffdale. A bit further for bigger jobs — ask.
    Really — people in recovery?
    Yes, and we're not quiet about it. Every crew has a lead on site, everyone's background-checked, and the standards are the standards. They're also the most reliable crews we've worked with, because the job means something. If anything is ever not right, you call us and we're back to fix it — that risk is ours, not yours.
    Do you take rental turnovers?
    It's some of our favourite work. We can put a crew on a unit and get it rent-ready fast, with before-and-after photos when we're done. If you manage several properties, ask about flat rates and reserved capacity.
